21 Week Off-Season Cycling Program – November 1, 2016-April 1, 2017

Get Fit Faster with Purposeful Training

P3 is fortunate to have a one-of-a-kind dedicated cycling center complete with 24 CompuTrainers and 6 screens to project your data. Different than other indoor cycling in the area, P3 uses CompuTrainer Coaching software which allows each athlete to ride an individualized workout to maximize their performance, all within a group class setting. In addition, the center will be soon utilizing Perf Pro software which can record an individual’s data and email it to them after the class.

During the 21 week program running every class is led by a certified coach. Power and heart rate zones are set for each rider based on an initial time trial and VO2 testing (optional ). As the class progresses and fitness is increased, additional time trials are performed to reassess those metrics. By the end of the program participants will have increased cycling efficiency and fitness as well as a better understanding of the benefits of training with power and/or heart rate to maximize your future training.

Proven results – A study showed P3’s 5 month program, provided a 24% increase in watts for 1st year riders! Other riders who had been in our program for 2 to 5 years averaged a 12% increase in watts over the same 5 month program!

Program includes:

  • 21 coached class sessions including four complimentary sessions in November ($630.00 value)
  • Five open cycling sessions  – one per month ($75.00 value)
  • Opportunity to store you bike (additional cost)

P3 is offering this purposeful driven program at a discounted rate of $499.99 (one time payment) or $110 per month for five months.

You may choose to pay for the five-month program in five installments – your credit card will be billed on the 1st of each month starting in November.

Additional Open Cycling sessions available at$10 for each 1.5 hour ride and $15 for each 2.5 hour.  During open cycling participants ride a road course and choose their own speed or intensity.

2016/17 Cycling Schedule

“There are so many benefits to having direction in your training, even if the off-season. I have participated in the power classes at P3 the last two years and have reaped the benefits during the racing season. The classes are very beneficial; they provide a focused and structured format to increase power, pedal stroke efficiency, muscular strength and endurance. I recommend the P3 classes to anyone who is looking to become stronger, faster, all while having a good time.”

“As a 52 year old non-athlete, I was skeptical if I would enjoy cycling. With the help of P3, I have been able to ride 100 miles in the Canadian Rockies, love cycling and continue to do things that surprise me. Thank you P3!”

“Participating in P3’s CompuTrainer cycling program gave me the strength, endurance and power to be competitive and successful on the road in the fast-paced world of criteriums and road races.”

Coach or No Coach – that was the question.

With six years of triathlon experience and the completion of many races, including four half ironman 70.3 events and three marathons, I was inspired by a friend to sign up for my first full ironman – IMWI 2015. As I began the process of preparing myself for the journey ahead, the concept of hiring a coach came into consideration. After speaking with several accomplished triathlete friends the consensus was unanimous – a “good” coach is well worth the money!

After networking with several local triathlete friends, my [inspiring] friend and I were introduced to Heather Haviland. After meeting Heather, my friend and I agreed to give her a try. Not knowing what to expect … I can now look back and say… I made the right decision!

Heather is a great coach! In my opinion, Heather is a very credible, knowledgeable and caring coach. Working with me one-on-one, she developed a training plan based upon my goals, capabilities and schedule. She always has a smile and a positive attitude and believes we are all capable of more than we think we are. And, she is very well connected in the triathlon and endurance racing community.

In addition to Heather’s own accomplishments as a former pro triathlete and her ability to transfer those skills as a coach, however, what I believe is one of Heather’s greatest attributes is her genuine care, commitment and concern for her athletes. She really cares about her athletes and is committed to helping them achieve their goals. There is no hiding or faking that.

My overall experience with Heather and the team at P3 – Peak Performance Professionals has been great! Everyone there is helpful, encouraging and professional. I have a made a lot of great new friends along the way and look forward to training with them in the future. I would absolutely recommend Heather Haviland and P3 to anyone considering hiring a “great” coach for endurance sports and fitness.

Thanks Heather and P3 for great season!
