Bob has over 15 years experience in the diabetes education field. It’s been said that he can get anyone to exercise! Much of his research has been focused on understanding the blood glucose response to exercise. He offers a full range of diabetes services to address the needs of the person with diabetes. Bob is available to help with general instruction on diabetes and exercise, specific recommendations based on actual glucose changes with exercise (how insulin might be changed or specific food might be added at detailed times during exercise) also individualized exercise programs to help a person reach their goals and minimize the troubles with glucose. Until January of 2004 Bob was the Senior Medical Exercise Physiologist and Certified Diabetes Educator at the Diabetes Treatment Center at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee.
